Pure Sanctuary Trunk Show

Here is just a little teaser of what is to come this Friday the 5th with the Pure Sanctuary Trunk Show. There will be an endless selection of little indulgences. These charms, chains, bracelets, pearls, and earrings are interchangeable to keep your style unique. To get the show REALLY going, Pure Sanctuary is offering a free charm to the first 10 people who spend $100 (can't wait to see what that is!) and we have door prizes to boot! We have extended our hours Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm.

Okay, So I couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek of some of the new collectibles.

Yesterday we decked our halls and hung our holly in preparation for the holidays. I know its hard to think of Christmas on these beautiful fall afternoons, but here at C'est Moi it's a winter wonderland.

Fall Favorites

With fall really rushing in this year, you automatically feel the need to put away the summer decorations and bright colors, and invite the warm colors of fall right into your humble abode. We have had several NEW arrivals hit the store this week. Here is a quick sneak peek.

The best thing about a Dash & Albert rug is you can replace your spring style rug in your kitchen and spice it up for the wintry seasons to come, or get a nice indoor/outdoor rug in place of that old "welcome" mat. With Dash & Albert, it doesn't have to say "WELCOME" to be ever so inviting.

Straight in from France, our collection of Le Jacquard tea towels, runners, and napkins are perfect for any holiday, special occasion, or even for every day use. They come in any color you can imagine, and stay just as vivid wash after wash. These towels are absolutely remarkable.

Root Candles. Enough said? Root Candles are made up of a beeswax blend, and come in many different styles, colors, and scents. They range from unscented collenettes and tapers to scented pillars and votives.

Who can't relate to this snapshot by Koralee Teichroeb in "Where Women Create"

My entire life, my moments have been measured in minutes. I can't count the many times I have said "In a minute..""Give me a minute.."" I'll be there in a minute.." or " Just a minute." What individual person hasn't?
Separating my time between children, my husband, my store, and my friends leaves me with few minutes to spare after using them all up with what my kids refer to as "being on momma time". Yeah, you know that clock that every mother has where one minute is actually equal to thirty minutes according to everyone else.
As for those "IOU" seconds, we've all had those nights where we press on past midnight just because it wasn't possible to fit it all into one day, my only hope is that whether they are minutes or seconds, good or bad, I have made a difference.

Whimsically Spooked

Happy & Scary, Spooky& Cooky
All these emotions in one collection,
Halloween faces made to an artist's perfection.
The little devil about to wet his britches,
A whimsical broom ride with cute little witches.
Mummy boy all wrapped up tight,
And little Draco, his face full of fright.
The little darlings of Halloween.

Joyful & Frightening, Pale faces & Eyes a widening.
Pumpkins full of candy and gleam,
Make way for the Halloween Queen.
Smiling candy buckets for girls and boys,
for them to collect their Hallow's Eve joys.
And don't forget Fannie and Jack,
Pumpkins ready for wonderful snacks.
Oh the little darlings of Halloween

Come on in to see our new Halloween items and collectibles.

ALL IN A DAY'S WORK

It feels so official to finally have the sign finished, the credit card machine working properly, and managing not to stick to the floor with every step I take from the slow curing paint. Most people who know me may be a little worried about my gypsy heart right now, you know that itch to go and dig for treasure, trust me there is no need to worry the hunt is still my passion. However, I'm pleased to say that I'm settling into the store and my new role of shopkeeper quite well. I look forward to putting the "OPEN" sign out on the sidewalk with the anticipation that the roar of the Big Brown truck will be stopping in front of our store.

I thought I would go ahead and give you a sneak peek of my favorite new arrival:

Our new French Stlye and Shabby Chic home decor books.

New art from one of our local artists, Lauren Denny.

Camp bracelets, charms, and chains from Waxing Poetic
